The decision of the Senate followed the adoption of a motion sponsored by the Deputy Senate Leader, Senator BALA N’ ALLAH.
In his remarks; the Senate President BUKOLA SARAKI faulted the NCC for not doing enough consultations before initiating the policy.
Senator SARAKI also asked the Senate Committee on Communications to investigate allegations of non-compliance to regulations against mobile telecoms operators.
