Senate acknowledges Pres Buhari’s leave letter.

.President BUHARI’s letter was read by the Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI, on resumption of plenary, indicating that duration of his visit to London would be determined by his doctors.

While he would be out of the country, President BUHARI notified the Senate that the Vice President, Professor YEMI ?OSINBAJO, will coordinate the affairs of the Federal Government.

However; our correspondent JAMES IGAH reports that the content of the letter did not go down well with some of the federal lawmakers, including Senator MAO OHUABUNWA.

The Senator representing Abia North immediately raised a Point of Order, to explain that there was nothing like Coordination Vice President as stated in the President’s letter.

But Senator OHUABUNWA was ruled out of order by the Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI.
