Senator SEKIBO said he has instructed his lawyers to begin the process of appeal the tribunal’s judgment in faour of his All Progressives Congress’s challenger, Chief ANDREW UCHENDU.
In a statement a day after the ruling by the Tribunal which sat in Abuja, Senator SEKIBO expressed the hope that his appeal would justify his victory and restore his belief in democratic values.
The PDP chieftain commended the people of Rivers State, particularly members of his Senatorial District, who he said voted overwhelmingly for the PDP.
He affirmed his confidence in the capacity of the judiciary to dispense justice and urged the electorate to remain steadfast in their support for him and the PDP.
