Our correspondent gathered that EMEKA ASSOR who is popularly known as ABACHA, is alleged to have masterminded the kidnap of NYSC members serving in Elele Alimini community.
The suspect was handed over to the police by the Elele Alimini Hunter’s Association following the abduction of the corps members at gunpoint from their residence in the early hours of today.
However; the NYSC members were rescued by security operatives who were assisted by youths of the community.
The kidnap victims simply identified as STEPHINE and MUSA spokes with our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR on telephone.
Our correspondent reports that the rescued corps members have been moved from Emohua to Port Harcourt for medical attention.
