Our correspondent reports that a fight broke out at the palace of Eze SAMUEL KINIKANWO-NYEGWA when his rival allegedly invaded the palace with the police to arrest the Eze and some members of his cabinets during a community gathering.
Addressing newsmen at his palace, Eze SAMUEL KINIKANWO-NYEGWA accused Eze BEKWELE WELI-ATAM of hiring thugs in collaboration with Nigerian police to beat him up and disorganized a meeting of the community.
Eze KINIKANWO-NYEGWA narrated his experience during the encounter at his palace.
Speaking in an interview with our correspondent, the legal adviser to the paramount ruler of Rumuagholu, EMEKA UDE threatened legal action against Eze BEKWELE WELI-ATAM and Nigerian Police for carrying out what he described as an illegal action against his client.
Reacting to the allegation, Eze BEKWELE WELI-ATAM dismissed the allegation, describing it as untrue just and accused Eze SAMUEL KINIKANWO-NYEGWA of using thugs to resist arrest by the police.
Our correspondent sighted the presence of security agents at the venue of the community meeting however; the policemen declined to speak to newsmen on the issue.
