The Nye-weli Rumuagholu Bekwelle Weli-Atam who made this call in an interview with Todayfm’s Sandra Kenneth, lamented the lack of electricity in the school since it was commissioned by the former governor, stressing that children use the toilet without flushing due to lack of water.
He said the school’s transformer was immediately disconnected the same day it was commissioned, adding that the contractor failed to make necessary payment and documentation for the usage of the transformer.
Eze Bekwelle however, disclosed that PHEDC is requesting for five million naira to reconnect the school’s transformer.
