They have appealed to the public and the state government to disregard these false claims that they do not want the Port Harcourt Ring Road to pass through their community.
In a statement, the Chairman of the CDC in Rumuekini community, Chukwu Onmunakwe, expressed concern regarding the spread of misleading information, and urged those responsible to cease from such immediately.
Onmunakwe added that the community has communicated with the state government, explicitly stating their support for the construction of Port Harcourt Ring road project within their community.
