Governor WIKE had in a meeting between the youths from the host communities and Green Vee allegedly directed that all employment into Managerial positions should be submitted to the Paramount Ruler of Rumuji community who must forward same to him.
Members of Ikwerre Youth Movement in Emohua have disagreed with the position of the governor, stressing that such decision was not in the interest of youths in the area.
KINGSLEY CHUKWU who leads the Emohua IYM media Team expressed worries that youth employment in the area is being allegedly hijacked by politicians from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the state which he said was dangerous for the youths.
Governor WIKE’S intervention came few days after youths from host communities staged a protest against Green Vee Oil Company which resulted to some protesters sustaining bullet wounds.
