Majority Leader of the house, Martin Amaewhule who presented the EMTEF said the decision to review the expenditure framework is because of the current reality caused by the Covid-19 pandemic that has affected the economy of the state and the world at large.
He said poor revenue generation and possible drop in Federal allocation has forced the Rivers state government to review its 2020 budget downward to N300bn from an initial N530bn.
Our correspondent Victor Ezeama reports that the members are expected to debate on the revised medium term expenditure framework on their next sitting tomorrow.
