Commissioner for water resources Tamunosisigogo Jaja who revealed this during a two day participatory training workshop for water producers in the state on Thursday dismissed insinuation that his ministry will set up task force to monitor the activities of the water factories in the state
He further called on producers whose water falls below standard to take urgent steps to improve their services or face the wrath of the state government.
Also speaking, the acting director, Rivers state water service regulatory commission, Engr Amatemaso Emmanuel said the training is to also expose water operators on water quality management skills as a requisite for good manufacturing practice
Some of the participants who spoke with Today FM Sandra Kenneth, expressed satisfaction with the process.
