The House reached the resolution following the presentation of the motion questioning why the Law is yet to be implemented.
Speaker of the House, IKUINYI OWAJI-IGBANI in his resolution asked the Committee on Education to invite the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education to explain why the Law has not been implemented since its passage over ten years ago.
Sponsor of the Motion, ASELEM OGUGWOR representing Ikwerre Constituency told the Assembly Press Corp that Local Rivers Languages should be introduced to the Academic curriculum of the state.
