The State Deputy Governor, Doctor IPALIBO HARRY-BANIGO, who made this known during a meeting with members of the Task Force, said the focus of the administration in the health sector is to provide quality, affordable and accessible services for the people.
According to a statement released by the Head of Press Unit of the Deputy Governor’s Office, HARRY BANIGO said despite the steps already taken by the Government to strengthen the healthcare system, efforts are also being made to reduce maternal, infant and child mortality through efficient and effective immunization exercises.
The Deputy Governor, who is also the Chairperson of the State Task Force on Immunization, said although Nigeria has been delisted from polio endemic nations, there was still the need for members of the task force to renew their commitment and be on alert.
