The thirty-six-member committee was inaugurated by the Government House Chief of Staff, EMEKA WOKE with a charge to ensure lasting peace in Emohua.
WOKE said members of the committee were selected among repented cultists, youth leaders and community stakeholders within Emohua.
He reminded the repentant cultists to know that crisis can never bring development, but destruction to the communities.
The inauguration was also attended by the for former Special Adviser to the Governor on Amnesty Programme, Sir KENNET CHINDA.
