Rivers state govt defends Ahiamakara quit Notice.

However; instead of the seven-day ultimatum as claimed by the residents, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Lands, ANUGBUM ONUOHA, said they were given twenty-one days to move out from the area.

 

Speaking in an interview with our correspondent, ANUGBUM ONUOHA insisted that government would only pay compensation Ahiamakara property owners after they had moved out.

 

OHUOHA also disclosed the payment of compensation to the affected property owners would be based on the Land Use Act.

 

 

ANUGBUM ONUOHA is the Special Adviser to Rivers State Governor on Lands.
