Rivers State Governor, NYESOM WIKE has come under criticism over his relationship with former militant leader, SOLOMON NDIGBARA who is wanted by the security agencies over alleged gun-running.The National Assistant Secretary of the All Progressive Congress, ORJI NGOFAH criticized Governor WIKE following his visit to NDIGBARA’s home town of Yeghe in Gokana Local Government Area after the violence that erupted in the area.NGOFAH, who spoke in an interview with our correspondent UCHENDU EJIOWHOR, said it was wrong for the Governor to visit NDIGBARA home without stopping at Senator MAGNUS ABE’s campaign office in Bori, which was also razed down in the violence.The APC chieftain wondered why the Governor WIKE would approve security raid on all criminal hideout and turn around to accuse Senator ABE of instigating military action against suspected criminals.In his reaction; the facilitator of Khana Connected Friends, PRINCE ABALUBU, expressed concern over reactions coming from Ogoni people in the wake of the violence.ABALUBU said soldiers have also carried out similar raids on criminal hideouts in other parts of Rivers State without any adverse reaction.
