The commissioner for Power, Demiete Herbert Miller who made the call also cautioned the PHED against overbilling of customers which has become a recent trend.
The commissioner advised the PHED to ensure that every house hold in the state is metered to prevent overbilling.
The commissioner also advised electricity consumers in Rivers state to ensure they are up to date with their bill to enable the state government have enough grounds to fight on their behalf over inadequate power supply.
