The acting general manager of Rivers state rural water supply and sanitation agency, Napoleon Adah, who made this known in an interview with Today fm’s Sandra Kenneth, disclosed that the federal government had commenced the project to ensure that human settlement is achieved and to improve groundwater governance across some states of the federation.
Adah, while also disclosing that some states have been selected as beneficiaries of the project, said it will help build resilience against climate change in the different regions of the country.
Adah, however expressed willingness of the Rivers state government to provide adequate supervision and technical skills to manage ground water.
