Rivers Residents Rate Ibas’s Tenure, Await Fubara’s Return

With just eight days left before the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, retired Vice Admiral Ibok Ete-Ibas, hands over to suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara, residents have expressed mixed feelings about his nearly six months in office.

Some residents who spoke described Ibas’s tenure as disappointing, faulting him for failing to continue projects initiated by the suspended governor.

However, there is excitement in Port Harcourt as the countdown begins for Fubara’s return to the Brick House. Supporters say they look forward to his resumption and urged him to uphold his “people first” agenda when he returns.
