TUBOTAMUNO JANE KAYODE alleged that her children identified as ASIWAJU and DAVID were taken from her by men of the State CID and later to moved to an unknown destination.
However; the Police Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command, NNAMDI OMONI, has turned around to accuse TUBOTAMUNO KAYODE of blackmailing the police.
NNAMDI OMONI told our correspondent in an interview that the divorced mother of three was trying to whip up public sympathy over a lawsuit with her husband.
OMONI, who is a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the police only intervened to enforce an order of a High Court in Lagos, which gave custody of the children to her husband, BABATOPE KAYODE.
