This time, several members of the all progressive congress and the social democratic party in Ahaoda west including the deputy governorship candidate in the 2023 election Patricia Ogbonnaya and the state publicity secretary of the SDP Esedi Joe joined the trail of defector to the PDP.
Speaking at the defection ground at Akinima Ahaoda west local government area of the state, the former deputy governorship candidate Patricia who led the defection of SDP members said their reasons for defection is to support the mandate of Governor Siminilkayi Fubara.
The former SDP Publicity secretary JOE said he is relinquishing his position at the SDP to support the governor.
Also speaking , the former leader of Ahaoda west legislative council and former caretaker chairman WILSON KARIBO who led members if the APC to the PDP said ten APC ward chairmen in the LGA and other leaders of the party are joining the PDP to support Governor Fubara who he described a s God’s chosen.
Earlier, Princewill Ogbobula read out a communique by stakeholders of Ahaoda west declaring their support for Governor Fubara and president Bola Tinubu.
Today FM’s Ifunnaya Obeme-Ndukwe reports that the deputy chairman of the PDP in Ahaoda west Uche Gideon welcomed the defector to the PDP on behalf of the LGA chairman who was unavoidably absent.
