The Convener of the Rivers Liberation Movement, Dr. Leloonu Nwibubasa, says Rivers State is in desperate need of a bold and courageous leader. He warned that the era of settling for timid leadership must end if the people are to experience meaningful development and improved living conditions. He also advised citizens to look beyond candidates who focus solely on road construction as a measure of progress
Dr. Nwibubasa expressed optimism that collective action by the people would help dismantle what he described as an anti-people status quo and open the door for governance that prioritizes the welfare of residents.
