The coordinator of Rivers Indigenous Peace Advocates, BRIGHT ABALI, who spoke in commemoration of this year’s World Peace Day, with the theme; “Climate Action for Peace” suggested that the Governor of the state embarks on what he termed a ‘peace tour.’
ABALI said the tour which is expected to be more like a town-hall meeting across the communities will not only boost people’s confidence, but also help tackle environmental crisis including flooding, communal and cult related violence in the society.
