There have been claims by opposition parties especially the All Progressives Congress that the CP worked for the victory of the PDP.
The party had also on different occasions, accused the Police boss of not providing adequate security for opposition parties, and also arresting perceived political opponents of the governor on trumped-up charges.
However, the CP in a statement, denied working for the Governor and the People’s Democratic Party, adding that he was neutral in the discharge of his duties and provided adequate security for all parties.
