Justice Chibuzor-Amadi spoke during the second Annual Conference of the National Association of Family Court Judges Magistrate and other family Court Practitioners held in Port Harcourt, where he said the Child Justice Administration system in Nigeria needs to be in parlay with what is applicable internationally.
The Chief Judge, speaking on the theme of the Conference, “Repositioning Child Justice Administration in Nigeria,” urged the Judges and Magistrates to play essential roles in ensuring that the justice administration operates seamlessly as envisioned by enabling the law of the court.
In her welcome remark, the Acting National President of the Association of Family Court Judges, Magistrate and other family Court Practitioners, Justice Eberechi Nyesom-Wike said as Judges, Magistrates and practitioners of Family Court, the ability to effectively deal with family and child law cases will help to mitigate the social crisis and contribute to the progress of the country at large.
Today FM’s Uchendu Ejiowhor reports that retired Supreme Court Judge, Justice Mary Odili who was the special guest of honor at the conference, in her goodwill message urged members of the State House of Assembly to help drive the issue that concerns the female gender and children to protect them for the safety of the family and nation at large.
