Former APP State Chairman, Kenneth Atata, speaking on behalf of previous party officials, pledged unwavering support for the Wokekoro-led administration, just as he also called on the people of Rivers State to collaborate with Governor Siminilayi Fubara to advance the development of the state.
During a meeting with the national and state chairmen of APP at the party Secretariat in Port Harcourt, Atata urged detractors to avoid actions that could destabilize the state.
On his part, the state chairman of the party, Sunny Wokekoro assured party members of his willingness to uphold the party’s manifesto as he urged all citizens and party members to contribute in their way to change the narrative of politics in Nigeria.
Wokekoro also debunked rumors that Governor Fubara is supporting the APP, noting that the party has been in existence since 2017.
Also speaking, the national chairman of APP, Uchenna Nnadi commended the former chairman, state executives and leaders of the party for their commitment and service, assuring them that they remain valued members of the party despite expiration of their tenure.
