The Publicity Secretary of APC, Darlington Nwauju in a media briefing at the party secretariat, recounted that hundreds of APC were killed and properties destroyed before, during and after the 2015 general elections and has continued to suffer the same fate without record of arrest.
Nwauju while accusing the police of issuing unprofessional statement on attacks against opposition political parties in the state, called on the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali-Baba to ensure that attacks on APC members and supporters as well as other opposition parties come and to an end.
The APC Spokesman also accused governor Nyesom Wike of trying to join the APC through the back door, demanding to know if the governor has accepted to join the cancer party rather than his maleria party as earlier described.
Reacting to claims by former Chief of Staff Tony Okocha that the Coordinator of APC Presidential Campaign Council, Patrick Tonye-Cole and his group are not interested in the victory of the candidate, NWAUJU said the APC cannot take seriously comment from a man who is not an APC member.
The APC Spokesman while welcoming the approval of the venue of the campaign rally by the government, clarified that the Party Presidential Campaign Council applied for the venue and urged members of the public to disregard claims by Tony Okocha who he accused of playing the script of his paymaster.
