The Committee conducted the screening in two phases, with aspirants under the OJUKAYE FLAG-AMACHREE-led State Executive taking their turn at the party’s secretariat.
The Committee chaired by LUCKY JAMES later moved to the Zonal APC Secretariat in GRA Port Harcourt for the screening of House of Assembly aspirants of the APC faction aligned to Senator MAGNUS ABE.
LUCKY JAMES later told newsmen that the Screening Committee ensured to fulfil its promise to entertain all aspirants who bought the APC nomination forms in the spirit of fairness and equity.
JAMES acknowledged that some members of the APC in Rivers State were aggrieved for one reason or another.
Some of the aspirants of the factional APC in Rivers State commended the National Screening Committee for the exercise.

ODIKE expressed hope that after the primaries, all aggrieved members of the APC in Rivers State would get back together to build a stronger party ahead of the general election next year.
