The APC also claimed that the state has become a caricature of what the treasure base of the nation should be with life expectancy of the people reducing on daily basis due to the inability of government to address the issue of soot.
The Deputy Publicity Secretary of APC in the state, Darlington Nwauju who spoke to newsmen in Port Harcourt alleged that in the past six years, billions of taxpayer’s money have been withdrawn in cash over the counters against every established financial regulation by the outgoing People’s Democratic Party administration.
Nwauju pointed out a case where one hundred and seventeen billion was withdrawn from a commercial bank in 2018 without any financial regulatory agencies prosecuting the culprits
