Rivers APC appears in court in lawsuit filled by Anabrabra challenging expulsion from party.

ANABRABRA, who represents Akuku-Toru State Constituency Two, also wants the Court to protect him from being removed as Minority Leader on account of his expulsion from the opposition party in the state.

But after the counsel to APC requested for time to study the brief and respond, Justice C.D GREEN adjourned the matter to Monday 13th of March.

Speaking outside the courtroom; counsel to the plaintiff, WORI WORI told our correspondent that his client has also filed an application seeking to restrain the APC and its Chairman from interfering in the administration of justice.

The lawsuit instituted by BENIBO FREDRICK ANABRABRA followed his election as Minority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

ANABRABRA accepted his nomination by a PDP member and went ahead to win on the strength of the PDP majority in the House, against the wishes of the APC Caucus, which nominated JOSIAH OLU of Eleme State Constituency as Minority Leader.

Following the development; ANABRABRA was suspended from the APC for allegedly engaging in anti-party activities.
