The Police Public Relations Officer, NNAMDI OMONI said all applicants are to check at the State Police Command Headquarters for the publication of the comprehensive list of successful candidates and Course requirements.
Furthermore; the successful candidates are enjoined to report to their designated Training centres along with the Original Copies of their Certificates and Credentials as well as Training kits.
In a statement obtained by our correspondent; the Police High Command also invites state governments, local governments, religious leaders, traditional rulers, community leaders and other members of the public who have any objection against those selected to make such known to the Commissioner of Police within three weeks.
The training of the ten thousand newly recruited Cadet Constables, Cadet Inspectors and Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police is taking place simultaneously at different police training schools across Nigeria.
The recruitment exercise was jointly conducted by the Nigeria Police Force; the Police Service Commission and the Federal Character Commission based on a directive by President MUHAMMADU BUHARI in a bid to strengthen the police force and enhance security in the country.
You will recall that close to one million people had applied to fill the ten thousand vacancies that was advertised at the onset of the recruitment exercise, which was later trimmed down in phases.
