Governor Siminalayi Fubara had during the peace pact with President Bola Tinubu requested that his supporters should not be victimized and intimidated.
The former Commissioner of Urban Development and Physical Planning, Reason Onya in reaction to the order of a court in Abuja, demanding for the arrest of the Chief of Staff to the state, Edison Ehie, said the order may be against request of the governor during the eight point presidential peace pact.
The former Commissioner who is also a political economist, explained he is not against the law, but the court should do the right thing by keeping faith with the only presidential request made by Governor FUBARA of not victimizing his supporters, as the other party involved has withdrawn its case against Edison Ehie.
Onyia said Edison Ehie as a son of Ubio in Ahoada West local government area of the state, will always be defended under Ubio customs and tradition.
