Amid rising political tensions in Rivers State, some residents have called on Governor Siminalayi Fubara to remain focused on the core responsibilities of governance rather than being distracted by political controversies.
The residents emphasized that the true test of leadership lies in the ability to deliver tangible benefits that directly improve the lives of the people. They noted that effective governance should prioritize development and service delivery over political disputes.
Speaking to our reporter, Ufuoma Kokogho, the residents urged the governor to give priority to critical sectors such as education, employment, and healthcare, which they described as essential to improving living standards in the state.
They also stressed the need for improved healthcare services and called on the governor to channel resources toward policies and projects that address these pressing needs for the overall well-being of Rivers State residents.
