A government spokesman LAMBERT MENDE said the next elections would be self-finance in a bid to protect the country from outside interference.
MENDE told the BBC that other countries usually hide under the offering of help during the elections to blackmail the DR Congo at a later stage.
He said the cost of the next elections on 23th December will be borne by the national budget, much as it was back in 2011.
The information was disclosed a day after President JOSEPH KABILA announced that he would stay away from a donor conference in Geneva next month.
