The lawmaker who made this known during a one day summit held by the coalition of Rivers oil and Gas Host communities in Port Harcourt also assured that the federal government will ensure that the agitations of oil producing communities are resolved.
Dekor noted that engagements are ongoing in some communities to resolve the issues.
Also speaking; the head of operations in the Hydro Carbon Pollution and Remediation Project, Philip Shekwolo reaffirmed HYPREP’s commitment to ensuring that the sufferings of rivers oil producing communities are heard.
