Reactions continue to trail the move by the Nigerian Senate to restrict the use of social media for communication by Nigerians.
The introduction of the so-called “Frivolous Petitions Prohibition Bill 2015” has already led to a protest to the National Assembly by a coalition of activists.
A Port Harcourt-based legal practitioner WILLIAMS ARUGU has added his voice to the criticism of the bill.ARUGU told correspondent JUDITH OKAFOR that the proposed legislation is baseless and what will not stand.He wondered why the Senators would want to suppress the same platform they used to campaign for election.
