A Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics in the University of Port Harcourt, Doctor Simeon Nembe believes that Nigeria is not yet ready to join the Free Trade Agreement.
Doctor Nembe premised his position on the believe that Nigeria relies only on crude oil to sustain the economy.
The Senior lecturer however noted that Nigeria can still gain a lot from the Free Trade Agreement if it improves the manufacturing sector in the country.
