In the latest move, Arab states opposed to Qatar, which includes Egypt, are considering new sanctions against the Gulf state.
This was made known by the United Arab Emirates’ ambassador to Russia, OMAR GHOBASH, who said the new measures could include asking their trading partners to choose between them or Qatar.
Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain have issued a list of thirteen demands which Qatar must fulfill to end the faceoff.
The demands include curbing ties with Iran and closing the pro-Arabic broadcaster, Al Jazeera.
But Qatar has denied supporting terrorism and has described the demands as unreasonable.
