The first leg of the exercise, which was held yesterday, targeted the people of Amaagu community in Abakaliki Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The General Officer Commanding Eighty-Two Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General ADAMU BABA ABUBAKAR, said the medical outreach was based on the directive of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General TUKUR BURATAI.
A statement released by the Deputy Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SAGIR MUSA, noted that the medical outreach was meant to gain the support and understanding of the locals for Operation Python Dance Two.
Colonel MUSA said a team of doctors and nurses from Eighty-Two Division Hospital and Medical Services are on hand to provide immediate medical support and services in dental care, as well as laboratory, optometry and blood pressure checks.
