JIBRIN personally hinted about the development to newsmen in Abuja, saying that the Chairman of the Committee wants him to make a comprehensive presentation on his allegations.
JIBRIN said he has welcomed the invitation by Professor ITSE SAGAY, which he described as another victory in his drive towards ensuring that justice was served on the Speaker and nine others allegedly named in the budget padding scandal.
You will recall that the federal lawmaker from Kano State accused the Speaker, YAKUBU DOGARA of colluding with his Deputy, YUSUF LASUN, the Chief Whip ALHASSAN DOGUWA, and the Minority Whip LEO OGOR to pad the 2016 Budget.
He said the committee’s letter of invitation was signed by the Executive Secretary, Professor BOLAJI OWASANOYE.
