President Muhammadu Buhari Invited to G-Eight Summit in Turkey

President BUHARI will be attending the meeting on the invitation of President RECEP TAYYIP ERDOGAN.
While in Turkey, President BUHARI will hold talks with President ERDOGAN that would focus on defence cooperation, security, education and migration issues.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, FEMI ADESINA, disclosed in a statement that the Nigerian leader will also visit the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey where he will meet with the Speaker, ISMAIL KAHRAMAN.
ADESHINA said President BUHARI will use the occasion of the D-8 Summit to bolster warm and growing ties across a broad range of areas of cooperation with leaders of the member countries, namely Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan and Turkey.
