President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has traveled out of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on an official visit to India.
President BUHARI will spend four days in India during which he will take part in the Third India-African Forum Summit in New Delhi.
The event which is India’s biggest-ever Africa summit is seen as an attempt to challenge China’s dominance on the continent.
India wants to project its soft power and historical ties to Africa, in contrast to China’s focus on resource extraction and capital investment expansion.
