Speaker of the house, FEMI GBAJABIAMILA, read President BUHARI’s letter at plenary.
The President is asking that the Act be amended to indicate that the new law took effect from the 1st of February, 2020.
He is also asking that the annual fees payable on basic good items should be differentiated from Valued Added Tax.
Similar letter was also written to the Nigerian senate.
