This is contrary to an earlier position by the National Chairman of the APC, ADAMS OSHIOMHOLE, who had consistently stated that neither President BUHARI nor the APC entertained any fears that the judgment would be won by them, and a State House statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, FEMI ADESINA, which also claimed that the president was unperturbed.
President BUHARI however revealed that the Federal Executive Council meeting, which coincided with the tribunal sitting, prevented him from going into trauma.
The president who made the admission when he received the All Progressives Congress state governors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, said he used the Federal Executive Council meeting, which was the first since the inauguration of his new cabinet, to absorb the pressure.
