The correspondence is in fulfillment of the constitutional requirement, based on which President BUHARI had also informed the lawmakers about his overseas medical vacation and the subsequent transmission of power to his Vice, Professor YEMI OSINBAJO.
After spending more than one hundred days in the United Kingdom, President BUHARI returned home on Sunday to a rousing welcome by his supporters.
According to a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, FEMI ADESINA, BUHARI’s resumption letter was addressed to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
