The photograph shows President BUHARI beaming with smile, while having lunch with the APC visitors, including the National Chairman of the party, Chief JOHN OYEGUN and Imo State Governor, ROCHAS OKOROCHA.
The photograph was accompanied by a statement in which the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, FEMI ADESINA, quoted Governor OKOROCHA saying that President BUHARI was very cheerful and has not lost any bit of his sense of humour.
Governor OKOROCHA said the APC delegation spent more than an hour with the President over lunch, adding that it was very clear from the discussions that he was following developments at home very closely.
OKOROCHA said the President particularly asked the Minister of Transportation, ROTIMI AMAECHI, about the state of the railways.
The statement further noted that President BUHARI simply laughed off all the negative things being said about him, which he described as lies.
The Imo State Governor said President BUHARI was completely unperturbed by what he called cocktail of lies, but instead, sent his best wishes to Nigerians.
OKOROCHA said by the visit of the APC delegation to London, those he called merchants of lies have been put out of business and Nigerians will not buy the garbage they have been selling.
The state further revealed that other members of the APC delegation to London include Governors UMARU TANKO AL-MAKURA of Nasarawa State; NASIR EL-RUFAI of Kaduna State, and YAHAYA BELLO of Kogi State.
