Reports say President BUHARI held separate closed-door meetings with the Senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, YAKUBU DOGARA at the Presidential Villa.
Speaking after the meeting, the senate President, BUKOLA SARAKI denied any rift between the National Assembly and the executive.
SARAKI said the relationship between the two arms of government should not judge by isolated events.
Meanwhile; the Presidency has expressed hope that the Senate would confirm the nominees for appointment as Resident Electoral Commissioners by next week.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator ITA ENANG said the Presidency has noted all the issues raised by the senators and assured that they would all be addressed.
