The Chairperson of the Rivers State Command of the Police Officers Wives’ Association, JULIET ODESANYA made the call while speaking with newsmen at an event in Port Harcourt, organised for children and widows of deceased police officers.
JULIET ODESANYA said efforts are being made to empower women in Rivers state.
On his part, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of State CID, FELIX WAMHI who represented the Commissioner of Police, FRANCIS ODESANYA, called on members of POWA to support their husbands who are still in service.
