Respondents are speaking on the backdrop of traffic congestion experienced in most parts of Port Harcourt. The respondents also want the government to position more traffic Police officers to arrest and punish those who violate traffic laws. Meanwhile, Rivers State commissioner for Transport, AKIE FUBARA told our correspondent that the state government is making plans to install traffic lights in major junctions in the state. It will interest you to know that only the UTC-Azikwe junction has a functional traffic light in the city of Port Harcourt.
