Port harcourt residents express worry over increase in hard drug in take

The residents noted that the intake of illicit drugs had also led to increase in crimes and risky behaviour that could harm Nigerian youths.

In an interview with Today FM’S Odinakachi Celestine, the residents equally blamed most of the challenges faced in our society and the country at large on intake of hard drugs by teenagers and youths.

They however, urged parents to pay attention to activities of their children and friends in order to curtail negative influence.

They further stressed the need for collaborative efforts between the government, schools, security agencies, civil groups, and communities to tackle the destructive epidemic threatening the further of Nigerian youths.
