CHRISTIAN NJIGWUM made the call against the threat by some APC chieftains that their Members-elect of the party would take their seats by force if the Speaker refused to swear them in as required by law.
NJIGWUM cautioned that such action would be in violation of Section Ninety-Four of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which requires that House of Assembly members must first be administered the oath of allegiance before taking their seats.
